there are 2 RHD ITRs around where i live...one is basically stock just lowered the other one is ******* crazy..mugen everything. they are beautiful cars in person
don't think it's impossible i've seen one py itr that did it.. had the california paperwork and all.. it sucks that it got stolen right afterwards.. pisses me off every time i think of that..
why does that happen.. everytime someone has something nice.. someone has to take it away from you. all that hard work.

It's not whether the car is LHD or RHD that affects your ability to register the car. It's whether the car passes all the emissions and has all the necessary safety equipment that is required of a US spec car of the same model year.

what cheese said....Are postoffice vehicles RHD? Yes. We have a few RHD vehicles around here, one is a land rover safari vehicle. You just have to get it inspected and pass basica emissions stuff, lights things like that then go get it regitered. i know there's a little more to it then that but RHD doesn't have much to do with it.

Ya I think everyone would drool over the Mugen out one. Its has everything mugen EXCEPT the new Spoon 4-2-1 header...but thats a nice piece also.
I bet it doesn't have the MT105 oil additive, the $2,200 radiator, $1,300 in bushings, G-028M CV joint grease, a $1,600 roll cage these are just some of the overly ridiculous items aside from the normal ridiculous Mugen prices. If he owns these items he gets a
x 2.
Later.

Yeah the shifter bushings that you can get from ES for 9 dollars are like 100 from mugen (i think) and 130 from spoon
you should do a left hand drive conversion. or maybe you should somehow incorporate the ITR into a LHD and RHD... 2 steering wheels, 2 clusters, etc, that'll be awesome. heh

Anyone can bring any car into the us as a "race car". and as long as you don't drive it on the street, you are not breaking any laws.
Cheese~
in all honesty...what on the car is different? You throw in the bumper supports etc from a USDM integra for inspection? Sure it may not pass exact emssions? throw on a usdm header/cat/exhuast. Nothing vents to the atmosphere i'm sure, so you'll be ok there. If you surely bought it legitly, which i think 1/2 these aren't, then it shouldn't be too hard to change the title over in your name, and get some plates registered. Heh, here in Arizona, you keep your plate...meaning if you sell your car, and get another, your old plate goes onto the new car. So infact, i could just slap the plate off my Accord, and go register the new car as a '9* Integra...correct? All they'll ned is for it to pass emissions...right?
