Icon2 Did tune up but still choppy acceleration?

Not sure really why this could be happening. Started two weeks ago i noticed my car would take off fine then lose power around 3k and be fine the rest of the acceleration. its almost predictible now. lol. Just cahnged yesterday my cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter. idles great now but still same thing could i have a faulty injector? i hear loud ticking noise from them, and not valves had them ajusted bout 5k miles ago. any sugestions thanks

Have you checked your timing?

Any cel's?

Whats the year and model?

Injector is a possibility.

Makes sure timing is correct as well.

CEL= check engine light. Just a short way of saying are you throwing a check engine light, and if so what are the codes being spit out.

ohh...CEL (check engine light)....ok duh...thanks, no changed my 02sensor when i did the exaust and CEL went off. i thought about the ecu reset thing. I did that when i put the new o2 sensor in and light went off so i will try that again. but did put some Lucus fuel injection cleaner today and filled it up seemed to help but well see later down the road...not big on using that stuff

well update on my db8 and hesitation....thanks for the input and sugestions but so far its runnning better since the injection cleaner. guess i got fortunate... dirty injectors. dont notice the hesitation at all any more just slightly at about 1800 rpms but one guy told me thats prob cause of the 2.5 exhaust system. so i tried rev launch about 2500 (with out peeling out, just taking off as quick as posible) and dont notice it all... runs great now. thaks again for the sugestions. now on to the most irritating small part change my PCV!
