There are two part numbers for s2000 WIX air filters, one is for S2ks from 00-06 and the other for 06-09 . Any of you guys have experience with these? Please compare both filters, elements construction etc and feel free to say which one you think is better.

No experience with one but i can't imagine that it would be much cheaper than OEM. I can't imagine that they would be better than what Honda has put in. You can usually place OEM ones online pretty cheap.
I agree w/this statement. I only run oem oil filters and head-gaskets/etc. Belts and air filters aren't that big of a deal on an n/a car. Some items don't have to have the Honda stamp on them to be effective. If this was a 700whp car, I'd be somewhat more discrete on what I used, however for most people, it's not an issue.
my serp belt is a gatorback, so i know what things i can upgrade and what i should keep oem...anything that has to filter anything or fluids, gets oem stuff unless i know for a fact there are benefits over factory and most filters dont measure up
If you listen to the guys here yes.
I wonder who makes Honda filters??.....food for thought.
Most "oem" products aren't even true "oem", just re-badged.
However, I won't disagree w/boots. He has dyno plots and engineering data directly from honda about filters and the benefits over other companies.
