Alright so im looking at a 2005 si hatch, with 101k on it, and its going for 8 grand. You think its a good deal? its a very clean car, inside and out, the only thing is the calipers are alittle rusty but no big, starts good, and smooth gears, any feedback on it? its my first car so I need help, thanks, tom

Not a bad deal, but coudl deal down a little more. Be sure to look out for the 3rd/4th gear synchros, throwout bearing, gear grinds, and/or popouts. EP3's are notorious for having the tranny issues. GL!

Little high. Sounds like dealer pricing. I can get a ep3 out here in arizona for 2.5-4k in excellent condition.

this^^ if you have the cash.

8k seems a bit much for 100k miles, ive seen them around for a little cheaper and/or with less miles at used car dealers. if your not in a hurry to purchase a car id wait and look around a bit more. i think i paid just over $9k for mine maybe 4 years ago and it had less than 30k miles, and i got the color i wanted. just had to drive 2+ hrs to go get it.

where in ny.? ive been thinking of selling mine and it has less than 90k on it. it is nowhere near stock, although, i have most all the stock parts minus the suspension. and it doesnt see the salt as it is in storage now, so spirngtime ill be more in tune with what i want to do with it.

You're 16, drive the 92 Accord with 195k on it and drive it til the wheels fall off. You'll learn what it's like to have to fix something yourself and you'll appreciate car ownership more once you can afford a nicer car.

haha..., someone's in love!!!

@thakid, where in AZ sells ep3's for that mean deal? I lived in AZ for 15 + years until I moved to IL and the prices on the imports vehicles aren't that cheap at all... I'd go visit my parents and pick up one or two EP's with that price, LOL...

I'm willing to fly to a different state for my ep3 right now =/

i got mine a month....er two months...(very recently)
for 7400

100k miles
NHBP clean bone stock no problems at all. it had fresh tires (less than 400 miles on them)
2004 though

except now i notice i have squeaking noises but i am absolutely sure its the wheel bearings need oil(the guy had the car garage kept for the past 3 months before basically) and i need new brakes now that i've been driving it hard.

only mods i've done are K&n filter and hondata airbox mod and rear strut bar
waiting for a guy to change his suspension so i can pickup his HFP suspension
getting a new headunit and alarm soon. =]

so yeah 8k sounds in the ballpark if its clean!
you can try to get it down a bit.

too much, I bought mine about 1.5 months ago, 04' 75k all stock minus buddy club short shifter, skunk2 springs and yellow fogs. I got it for 7.5k in Northern VA. And I bought it from original owner, runs and drives great, changing the suspension for personal preference but great car overall... think the dealer is a little overpriced.

hell there is a guy local to me selling his 04 NHBP with 76k on it bone stock for 8k. So shop around, or buy his and come down and get it.

LOL I know the feeling.

I would say that the asking price is a bit much. You can find a nice EP3 for lower than that.

Hell, 65 miles isn't far at all. Wait for the right one. TRUST ME
