92 Accord. Speedo and tranny shifting issue...
Hello. New to the forum,
I have a 1992 Honda Accord. When I use the car it rides fine for about 15-20 minutes and then the speedometer goes to zero and the transmission won't shift. After maybe a few seconds or so it comes back to normal but happens again either within a few seconds or a couple minutes.
I did some research and from I've been reading it seems to be the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) that may be culprit.
Can anyone give me an opinion on this?
I also am not a DIY kind of person so I always have my repairs done by a mechanic.

I think I have the same issue with my Honda 1992. I just replaced the Ignition Switch (?) or Ignitor because it kept stalling. Now it's having the same issue I had a few years ago. It won't shift into D3. I have had to manually shift it for three years now, which has given me no problems. Now it jerks, acts like it may stall and isn't shifting properly. The D4 light stays lit half the time. Anyone?
