What does it look like when you replace the water pump?

Default What does it look like when you replace the water pump?

I just changed out my water pump and it looks weird in there. A bunch of orange gunk, I cleaned it all out, is this normal?

yes, this is most likely the assembly material/ gasket maker that honda used in the first place. i think you might also find some of that stuff in your thermostat if i remember correctly.
