Default Help: Climate control swap in EK - turn signals wont work

Hey guys,

I just did 99-00 climate control swap in my 96 ek. Everything is plugged in and everything works. The issue I am having is my turn signals don't work. If I press my hazard light button only the left side flicks on and off. Turn the switch off and try the turn signals nothing works.

Could it be the 99-00 Hazard switch causing the problem? The car I pulled it from worked fine.

TIA

Start by checking whether 7.5A dash fuse 12 is blown.

I just looked and they are wired the same (96-98 vs. 99-00), so that's not it.

EDIT: My next guess would be to check the ground - it should be grounded at G401 which is by the d/s kick panel (above footrest, behind cruise control brain). Both the blinker relay and the turn signal indicators are grounded there.

Both relays work, I tried them in my sisters car.

BUT

I fixed it, it was the plug for the hazard switch. One of the prongs inside the plus was bent to the side and the clip wouldn't seat all the way. Straightend it out and the clip snapped right in and now it works

Thanks guys
