Help. Key broken off in the ignition
I recently bought a '88 CRX for my kid. It needed a battery and a clutch. I left it on the street near the previous owners apartment for a week.
So I'm sure you can already guess what happened. I show up to put a battery in the car and make sure it's going to run well enough to drive to get home (not very far).
In the interim some toilet has gotten in the car and attempted to boost it (the body is totally straight). They broke off what ever key they were using in the ignition.
Does anyone have a good trick for getting out a broken off key?

Wow suck for you but i think you might look into getting a new ignition lock since it might be a pain getting it out.If not remove the ignition cylinder and take it to a locksmith
Dam man sounds like you got to replace the whole ignition lock... but maybe try useing 2 skinny naills or or somthing skiny you can stick on both sides of the key and push in on it and lift back idk if you understand wat I'm trying to say
\|/ shitty example but say the line in the middle is the broken key and the 2 line on the side are your prying objects pinch the key on each side with the prying tool of your choise and pull out maybe it will work

I've put super glue on the end of a small screwdriver, held it on the broken end of the key til it set then gently pulled the key out. AFTER the super glue sets... Spray a lil lubricant in there so the key doesnt drag as hard on the wafers in the cylinder, thus breaking it off the screwdriver, if you do it before u glue then glue wont stick
