Wiring & ECU Help
ok i bought a 1995 honda civic coupe that had rear damage n the frame was bent so i pulled the motor tranny and ecu and sold the rest of the car. then i bought a 1990 honda civic hatchback that is obd0 and the motor was obd1. i then traded the hydro tranny for a cable tranny. the motor is a d15 and i bought a 1990 civic si mpfi motor harness will this plug into my motor and the body harness. the harness is also obd0. please any comments or tips that will help i will listen and appreciate the help. and i am also using the ecu out of the 95 civic wich i believe is a p08 if that is not correct i will repost later i did get the jumper harness for that so it will hook into the obd0 harness.

The easyest way is to just use the motor harness for your car. And mod it to work all you gotta do is add a few wires and move 2 pins down at the ecu. Hear is a right up I made. Hope it helps https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/diy-dpfi-mpfi-swap-made-easy-2889205/
well c i have a mpfi harness now that is obd0 but the originall harness on the motor was obd1 and i was wondering if thatll just hook up and work after extending the plugs i need to.
Unless the car you bought was MPFI then the Si harness you got will not match your chassis harness.
What Tony meant was use the engine harness that matches your chassis harness and convert it to MPFI,it's not that hard to do.
