crx bogging while driving
i have a 90 crx with jdm b16....not too long ago it was having problems starting when weather was warm or when car warmed up....so i took out main relay and sodder points seemed fine but i bought new one just to be on safe side....before it was starting to bog out while driving too...everytime i took foot off pedal or not give enough gas i noticed that the ebrake light would slightly be lit and when it slightly lit up my lights would get brighter and then sometimes it would die...when pulled over the fuel pump would prime...but after i got main relay it still primes and runs fine if i dont drive it for a day or 2 but after consistently driving it...it still does it...i checked battery after these problems occur and its fully charged, the fuel filter was recently replaced...im thinking fuel pump...but wanted opinions first...any help?
I'm having very similar problems myself. Started out only bogging/sputtering when warmed up. I've replaced fuel filter twice, two dizzys, fuel pump, o2 sensor, plugs, wires, ignition coil, cap, rotor.. Pretty much everything. My next diagnosis is TPS. I read a thread somewhere about a B16 CRX having similar issues, and when the TPS was unhooked the car threw a CEL but ran fine. Might be something to look into.
Thats your problem then. If you are throwing a light for tps usually that means there is a problem within the wiring, and not the tps sensor.
I had the same problem. You have to check to make sure that the tps sensor is getting 5volts at the plug. Make sure it has a ground.
Then check the signal wire for .5 volts and idle, then smoothly open the throttle and watch the voltmeter and make sure it also goes up smoothly.
A bad tps would make you idle horribly or even let the car die. Struggle while driving. Many many symptoms

had the same problem and the car was running way rich, got all my wires checked, ALL my connections professionally checked out. turns out i had a lot of wire problems done by the previous owner. after knock, fuel pressure, distributor lines all had new wires the car didn't run rich and didn't sputter anymore but it still bogged a tad bit so i changed my spark plugs and now my b18 LS is a champ. check your wires it could be something small but yet so vital.
yah im guna check all my wires and dizzy and spark plugs...i just replaced fuel pump and it still runs shity....i let it idle after it warms up and it flutters the dash lights will flicker till dies but starts right back up but if foot isnt on acceleration it will flutter and die
