ok heres the deal,i have a 00 civic dx i bought with no motor, i had a wrecked 00 hx that ran i put the motor engine harness and ecu in to the dx
car turns over but is not getting power to the fuel pump. the green plug that is on the enigine harness plugs into the green plug on the dash harness on the dx but none of the wires are in the same places,also on the dx the dash/cabin harness has the green plug and a gray plug the hx only has the green one,whats the deal and what do i need to do to fix the problem

 

The wiring is different. 99-00 Hx has all three plugs coming from the engine harness to the ecu (obd2a style). While the 99-00 civic Dx have only 2 plug coming from the engine harness to the ecu . The third plug is built in with the cabin. (cabin harness) which plug to the ecu also.
the 99-00 hx is obd2a
the 99-00 other civic models are obd2b
your gonna new a different engine harness.

 

can i use a obd2a to obd2b jumper

 

im also curious about this....did u fix all your problems. im doing the exact same swap your doing on a dx
