really...? I mean, this is something you should know.

But, since you made a thread out of it, then I'd have to say start with suspension and braking. Then, you can make some power, and if you have money left over you can make it look good. /thread

Please be more specific about what kind of technical advice you are looking for.

 

Before doing any modifications, replace the typical maintenace items first...wiper blades, fluids, spark plugs, etc. A car with expensive suspension or fancy "JDM" wheels don't mean a damn if it's dead on the side of the road due to lack of maintenance.

Rotors all around already? If not convert. Some quality coil overs and control arms all around. And of coarse my favorite... HID's!

 

almost forgot....ALARM SYSTEM along with hidden kill switches. There is no such thing as a "safe" parking location these days.

 

...wow. don't get hids. you don't have the projectors nor can you buy them for a del sol i've looked. you can pry mod a different year to fit idk. also they're illegal outside of projector headlights. or you can mod your current ones but thats some fab work.

also unless you really really need it just use drums. you only do like 15% of braking in the back it won't stop the car faster. just easier brake changes which don't happen to often.

otherwise your good. and do some research. this has been covered....alot.
I/H/E, tuning program, valvetrain, cams, suspension, wheels, brakes. not in that order just ideas.

 

get yourself a CR-V driveline and go all wheel drive!!!!

 

i think your gonna need a lil more than a drive line to go awd

 

awd del sol would be too sick though :D id jack it up like 2 inches, build a roll cage, put some dirt tires on, then call it a day

 

You can most definitley buy projector lights for a del sol, their just expensive because they have to be made for you specifically.

HID's are not illegal in a reflective lense. Cadillacs and other high end vehicles come with them and they do not (always) have projector lights. Also the non high end Toyota prius comes with them, earlier models did not have projector headlights.

I do agree with a full exhaust and tuning it up.
