new clutch disk/plate problem
i replaced my clutch disk and plate with a Stage3 XTD kit. I bought the kit that suits on 94-01 integra Bseries and installed it on a 92 Civic 4door B16(it should be ok).
The problem is the clearance between the plate and the disk seemed too small and when i finished installation the clutch wouldnt engage when i released the pedal.
What went wrong?

Ok let me carify. When you release the cutch pedal from the floor to disengauge the clutch with the car in gear nothing happens. Do you feel resistance in the clutch pedal? Is it hard to get into gear? Please Define clearance to small.
What all did you replace?

I went to inspect my self today. as you can see from the pictures the new clutch disc center is pulling outwards instead of the old one which is lined with the disc. Also the bearing that came with the kit looks different than the one used. So when we bolt the flywheel with the plate/disc the new bearing can barely touch the plate.
At the beginning we installed it and adjusted the pedal and clutch cylinder to respond but shifting with switched off engine was hard, imagine the car running, it would destroy everything in the gearbox. So when we removed the gearbox again the bearing was almost destroyed.
The we bolted the clutch/flywheel and tried to use the old bearing and it looked like it could work..but that was done on the bench...not on the car
So what could be wrong? Wrong clutch disk? Wrong bearing?
