1991 Hatch Drum Backing Plate
What's up everybody? I need a little help. My backing plate's on my 1991 Hatch Civic are rusting away. I was wondering if anybody knows of any companies producing aftermarket one's or if any other year Civic/Acura ones will fit, specifically my 13" rims. Went to dealer all sold out. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mar

You can find the same backing plate on any '90-91 Civic or CRX except for the wagon.
I'm not 100% sure on this, but '92-95 Civic with a manual transmission might work too (automatics use larger shoes/drums).
Thanks for the replies, I'm thinking ones in boneyard are in same shape as mine. It seems 1988-1989 civics have different wheel cyclinders and backing plates because of this but everything else matches up. dealer has 1988 ones avail, that's it. 92 and up civics have different plates but use the same hardware, must be different location for e brake cable. Can anyone confirm this.
I just did a rear disc conversion and was about to dump my hole control arms from a 90 DX hatch. My backing plates are mint, if you take a trip to Pa you can have them!

Yup, just the plates. I hate to be a pest, but if you can shoot me pics to oldcar@***.net that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.
