Hi my RPM meter is just going like crazy it go up and down, what can be the problem, what do I have to check to solve that problem? Let me know as soon as possible.

Bad igniter? It feeds the tach so its possible. I dont remember which leed off the igniter is for the tach though.

u probly have a valve under the throttle boby unscrewed.

Someone hook me up with the 99-00 civic coupe shiz... Got rid of my lude to start an ej6 project.. Seller said it was all stock one owner, through further research (dont know alot about civics) dx did not come with the d16y8... Block was caked with oil then cleaned it off and BAM, Y8.. I just need confirmation that a 99 dx never came wita y8. K20A in the garage waitin for mounts

 

Sounds like a bad igniter to me. Put a autozone dizzy on cause was in a bind and it has bad igniter. Everytime i go past 7k it pegs the gauge. Swap the dizzy with a friend if ya can and see if it works. If not then its the gauge or harness
