Default Harsh ride over bumps?

I have a 99 Civic EX.

There are no sway bars front (removed) or rear. No tower bars. I have stock 99 Si springs (200F / 100R) and I get this jarring and harsh motion where all the bumps are felt in the cabin.

The rear shock / spring assembly was replaced brand new (OEM) less than 10k ago. I've tested the front shocks with the "rebound" test and them seem to hold they're own. I don't get it though, with such soft spring rates why is the ride so harsh?

Everything seems to check out? I mean they're old, but they don't seem torn from a visual inspection.

Sounds like you have a blown strut somewhere. Did you take off the wheel and make a visual inspection of the struts yet?

Any noises when you go over the bumps? Rattling...clunking... squeaking?

I'll double check, if anything they're too low.

I've visually inspected them, any there's no leaks. Is there something else I should be looking for?

The best way to describe it is a jarring sensation. It feels / sounds like the car is going to fall apart - it's just not solid.
