my Apexi' VAFC was stolen when my car was jacked.. i didn't have it tuned, but how would i avoid any possible damages to the engine or ecu?

 

couldn't you just rewire the ECU back to the way it was stock?

 

exactly what i was thinking.

 

so how do i put my car back to normal state? will it be necessary to get VAFC again? or ecu? like i mentioned, the vafc was installed, but never touched the setting. since the car is in the shop, i never got to drive it, but when i start the motor, the idle seemed to be fine. just haven't got to the point when the vtec kicks in.

just need any information from anyone that previously had vafc but had it disconnected somehow. any experience of having possible damage? or things i should be aware of before i drive it.

yes.. it is done already.. i was just hoping to find out if there will be any possible damage, causing the idle to jump for no reason while cruising because this is what happened to couple of my friends.. thanks for your replies..
