My ef doesnt start I replaced the fuel filter distributar cap spark plugs and it wont start it cranks and sounds like it wants to turn on but wont so if anyone know what can be the problem can you let me kniw I really need my car thanks and god bless 1.5 ef std model obdo

 

Step1. Is your timing right? Step2. Do you got spark? Step3. Do you got fuel? Step4. Do you got compresion find out wat you don't got and we can help more it can be a number of diffrent things

starter? check grounds...always sounds stupid, but can sometimes be that simple!

 

reset the timing and changed coil pack but still no spark every time it cranks I smell gas and idk on the compression how would I check that

 

Check the rotor in the dizzy the bolt falls out, happened twice to me.

 

try OEM ignition control modual u know what Im flippin sayin!

coil pack? is this a 3.1 chevy beretta orr a honda civic? lol j/k..sounds like if you smell gas then you have no spark. ign. module. they can test them at autozone
