well i have a good chunk of the front for it but need someone to cut and weld it for me. anyone in the 92102 area to do this? i was quoted 350 at a shop but want to see if i can save some dough to invest in a hood
Bro if your mexican, take that down to mexico. just take it to a few shops to get some estimates on what's going to cost. also i hear if you take it to shops out of Tj, you'll get a better deal mostly.
make sure you check along the rails to see if they are buckled, measure from a fender bolt by the hinges on the drivers side to the front fender bolt on the passenger side, then do the same but reversed sides like an x to see if the measurements are close. obviously if the rails are pushed back at all replacing the support isnt going to help much. good luck with the project!
looks like my old hatch. i had a local shop cut off my old bent one and replace with a straighter (but not completely straight) radiator support for $175. then again, i knew the shop owner so i probably got some kind of a deal.
best bet is to figure out if you have a 2 door or 4 door hood, and then get a new radiator support welded up.
