Default Need some advice on EH body work.

So recently purchased this from someone in anaheim. Clean title with 10k on a rebuilt engine. Compression is good. but needs cosmetic work. the core support is jacked up and hood dont close right so any suggestions?

Thats going to need a lot of work. Hopefully you didn't pay over 1k for it.

I think I test drove that car last year lol.

I recognize the paint, really faded-ish. Also, it was kind of loud too? Lol.

well i just got the support 50 bucks and its not gonna cost alot to get it welded on

daaanggg this is sad, cut the whole front end and put a new one or a used one thats not all jaked up even if yu get a new hood and bumper is still guna look weird

well i have a good chunk of the front for it but need someone to cut and weld it for me. anyone in the 92102 area to do this? i was quoted 350 at a shop but want to see if i can save some dough to invest in a hood

Bro if your mexican, take that down to mexico. just take it to a few shops to get some estimates on what's going to cost. also i hear if you take it to shops out of Tj, you'll get a better deal mostly.

make sure you check along the rails to see if they are buckled, measure from a fender bolt by the hinges on the drivers side to the front fender bolt on the passenger side, then do the same but reversed sides like an x to see if the measurements are close. obviously if the rails are pushed back at all replacing the support isnt going to help much. good luck with the project!

looks like my old hatch. i had a local shop cut off my old bent one and replace with a straighter (but not completely straight) radiator support for $175. then again, i knew the shop owner so i probably got some kind of a deal.

best bet is to figure out if you have a 2 door or 4 door hood, and then get a new radiator support welded up.
