I'm trying to find ways to get rid of the excessive heat from my turbo setup and what better way then a vented hood. I've always like the way the Evo hood looks on an Evo ,but am unsure how I'll like it on a civic.

This is the only pic I could find on the net. And I want a hood with the vents more forward so they're right above the turbo/manifold area.

From a appearance standpoint I am not a fan because the center of the hood is really evo like (hence the name), I dig the side vents though, but if you like it and it fixes your cooling issues
by all means do it!

 

heat wrap and a turbo blanket will help

 

also hooking up a radiator might help.
