Default Adjustable Height, Ride Quality, Budget > Performance

Current setup: skunk2 pro-s adjustable "coilovers" (oem shocks)

Ride quality is horrendous. I thought I could deal with it, but it's gotten to the point of insanity for a DD.

I'm looking for a smooth ride, adjustable height with a good amount of drop, and a slight to moderate improvement in handling. Would by best option be to find a nice shock to go along with the skunk2 springs, or find a cheap full coilover setup to replace it all. My budget is around 700.

I'm considering Function & Form Type I or II. I can get One's for $600 shipped and Two's for $700 shipped.

Maybe I could go with Koni Yellows with the s2's and then get gc's when I can afford them.

Thm has them for only $799, why buy coilovers twice?

Save a 100 bucks and do it all now, and end up saving money in the long run.

Nice, I think I've been there before now that I see the site. Thanks. What are you referring to that is $799 shipped?

I priced out Koni Yellows and GC coilover sleeves for $640 shipped..is that really how cheap they are? Or am I missing something...

The more and more I think about it, I think it's in my best interest to just get the koni yellows now and see how the ride is with the s2 coilovers. I mean damn, $285 for shocks is way cheaper than I though they would be.

Pretty sure 285 is for TWO shocks. I think they are sold each. LOL. So take that times two for a total of 570.

Yes, I agree that it really sucks when you don't really know what you are buying until it shows up at your door. Even at that price, the Koni's are a good investment. I loved my Koni/GC's and will probably be buying another set. They rode well, handled decent.

Progress CS-II seemed to be a GREAT choice that fits what you are looking for.

Thanks, yeah I'm liking koni more and more. I'm seriously considering trying them out with my s2 sleeves and if it does the trick and I'm happy, I'll keep that.

Thanks, I actually just searched up on them the other day...definitely a good price, but if I can go with a koni/s2 setup for roughly $100 more, I may do that.

Remember, if you go with skunk2 you'll need to buy an adapter to use them with the koni shocks.

for a dd and on a budget just go with the skunk2 pro s full coilovers... i had them on 2 cars now and they are perfect for DDing with a bit of fun in the turns

i personally wouldnt try to salvage those springs just cuz their sleeve kit is known for their extremely harsh ride

for you slammed ****** they can drop really low (currently i have 15" wheels and have it set as high as they can go and still barely have a 1" gap)
