***EXPO 11 @ Buttonwillow on May 7th and 8th - Registration OPEN ***
West Coast Expo has been Canceled
I am both sad and disappointed, but we have to cancel the plannings of a west coast Expo due to lack of interest. Registration is closed at this point and I will be issuing refunds ASAP.
We are still planning to have an Expo. Exact date and location TBD and we are working on choosing an alternate location. I expect to have that information announced within the week.
I appreciate everyone’s support in trying to make a west coast event a reality, and I would encourage those that are local to the west coast to consider coming out to the Expo at its new location – it is always great to see people from all over the US make the event.

I just looked over the rules. Is it true that only instructors will be able to take passengers? Also, I've been to about 12 track days since 2002, and since I go somewhat infrequently, I consider myself intermediate, and I used r-comps for the last four events I have been to.
I noticed in the rules that only advanced drivers will be allowed to have R-comps. I understand not letting beginners use r-comps, but intermediate too? Seems kind of restrictive.

No time to open that can of worms. The california dudes are getting a fair shot, there are plenty of other events to do if you're itching to get out.
Plus if E12 has a remote chance of being where they're going to diligently try for then E11 can be in Cambodia for all I care.

That's not going to encrypt your traffic, paypal SSL will be the same on either... but what ever makes you feel safe
Here in CA, I've run with Redline, Speedventures, and NCRC, and the only passenger restriction I ran into was none for beginners. Well rules are rules, if end up going, I'll follow them.

Intermediate group at this event has historically (with the exception of last year) been a Novice 2 in a way. I don't see any reason why someone with less than 10 events under their belt should be on any kind of r-comp.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
