Timing Belt Help ASAP
So my timing belt snapped, when cranking the car. How can i tell if the vavles are bent or if I did any damage to the head or pistons? The "UP" on the camgears are facing the intake side (3/4) of the way, almost facing downwards.
If I was to do the timing belt how would i adjust the cams/gears to the right timing? Do i just turn it to were the "UP" is facing up with the two dots on the camgears line up? or do i have to throw on the timingbelt then turn everything to get it lined up? The exhaust cams is little off from the intake cams, just by alittle bit. Is it suppose to be like that when a timing blet snaps?
Read on how to replace timing belt but then my timing belt snap. so im clueless since mine snapped.
HELP ASAP. DOING THE TIMING BELT LATER 2NITE.
Thanks in Advance.

Search and you'll find guides on how to install a timing belt.
Simply do a compression test once everything is back on properly, with bent valves a compression test would be able to confirm it.

Worst case scenario, if you did bend a valve, your car should still be driveable until you order some new valves, then you will have to take off the head and replace the valves, seals, and then do a valve lash. Go to hondatech.info and you will find just about every service manual there available for download

Alright guys got the timingbelt and water pump on. while doing it the waterpump only had 3 screws and 2 dowel pins. Replaced it with a oem gsr water pump but then the gsr water pump didnt have any dowel pins so i tried taking it off but wouldnt come or budge. so i just add an extra screw on. Would that secure the waterpump? the wholes where the dowel pins where in have some bolt patterns in them so i just installed a screw in one. but everything thing seems to be running pretty good. car started up right away. but i still gotta do the compression test. probably going to be doing it in a bit.
Sounds like you are one of the lucky ones, although massive damage can occur when timing belts break or even slip, [skip] on "interference engines" it is not always the case.
Definitely do the compression test, I would go as far as removing the head just so you can eyeball the piston tops and valve heads to make sure there is no minor damage, [nicks] that can develop into bigger problems later on. 94
