Default 92 hatch, making noise when driving

Im not sure what the problem is, I was driving down the street and when Im about in 2-3rd gear, I started to hear like a scraping noise coming from the front of my car. its a 92 hatch, im not sure if its the brakes or not, sounds like it. but when I made a hard left turn, something clicked and then the noise stopped. after that i drove it fine with no noise, im wondering if something broke or what? im not sure,
if you have any ideas, let me know,

I have had a similar problem in the past where the brake shield was worn right where it meets with the knuckle and would grind against to rotor some times.

take the rotor off, out the wheel back on and spin the wheel to see if it still makes the noise.
