Well its been a couple of weeks since I have been on here and some of you tried helping me out on y my car would start then die when i would drive it so I found out what it was. The ignition switch wire was loose due to my lame friend letting my motor hang during the tranny swap. Well I got it fix and sodered and its all good now. Now I have a ek radiator that I slapped on there and its koo to drive on the streets but when I hit the fwy after 10 mins it heats up quick or when I go faster than 70mph. I let it sit to see if there was air in the radiator and it was ok. So could it be that its my thermostat?

 

Dam I remeber when you had them problems with your car and reading your old thread good you got it fixed now u got a nother problem damn.. as for your car over heating check the termostat and replace it if it looks bad. And also make sure the cooling system is bled.

 

Yea ill replace thermostat 2maro for sur and how do bleed the cooling system? This thing is starting to be a Fix Or Repair Daily haha.

 

Best way is to park on a hill with the front of the car facing up hill or jack up the front. Fill it with coolent start the car with the radiator cap off and let the car warm up fully and look a wait to you see no more air bubbles in the radiator add coolent if needed and put the cap back on and done

 

Ok ill flush it out in the morning and check the thermostat and jack up the car and add water and coolant and see how it ends up cause I never had this problem before. My old radiator was fine till it cracked but idk how it cracked? Must have a bad thermostat I guess so thanks tony
