ok..i have searched for this and have came across alot of different answers .. my ? is i have a 97 civic cx hatch im gona put a ls vtec in it ..i was told tht i could take the ex harness and put in the car and not have to run seperate wires for vtec is this true.. thanx for the help

 

You can run a '96 - '98 5 speed EX harness ('99 - '00 wont work)

you may have to run extra wires for a secondary O2 sensor as on a ex the secondary O2 sensor was wired into the floor harness not the engine harness. on a dx or lx its ran into the engine harness as the cat is int he front of the car not behind the motor.
