I dropped the trans out of my car. At first I thought it was the cable, but realized it was not snapped. So now that i have the trans out of the car im not too sure what to do from here. The lever on the outside of the trans feels very light to me. Any thoughts on what to look for?
I bought the car already modified/rigged up :/ Everything will be cleaned up before being put back together.

cant tell much from just those pix also u didnt say what the issue was that you were having with the car prior to pulling the tranny. I can tell the rear main sell is blown. If the pressure plate and disc have never been replaced that could be causing issues since the car is 20 years old. So i would get a clutch kit, replacement clutch cable, rear main seal and have the flywheel resurfaced but thats just what i would do with having the tranny out.

 

What's the problem exactly? That's pretty damn dirty, either that's original or something bad happened, I'd guess. Replace the clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing, if you can. Resurface flywheel, as said.
