lol yes

its not that hard to do it yourself once you get the hang of it-it takes a while, and it'll hurt your back hunching over that far for long since you actually do need to use both hands at the same time for parts, you just gotta compensate for the adjuster moving while you tighten it down

also you'll need the bent feeler gauges, flat ones will bind and be misleading

yeah, especially on any F-series intake side. it's very tight there with the motor tilted 10-15°.

Ok I Have a 02 accord with the F23A1. just hit 105xxx now last night, i drove through a little creek that runs over a road. it had about 6in of water( prolly not the smartest thing to do) now when i got to the other side my car stalled out. when i went to start it back up it would turnover but not start like i got water in it? Finally got it started, now the motor ticks horribaly. I figured i got water in it so i flushed the oil twice with new filters and 10q of oil. I still cant figure out what it is....... also when i put just a little bit of foot presure on the clutch you can feel the tick in the pedal but when you depress it all the way the ticking gets a tad bit quieter...... Anyone have any ideas what this could be. My thought is that i have a valve stuck or something in the head but idk since i feel it in the clutch...... Help please!!!!!

Please do not thread-jack.

Start your own thread for your problem (doesn't matter if it says you can't, you not supposed to thread-jack either).

You will need to be more specific about your problem as well, FYI. If you can't then we could only throw out suggestions. If you have a trustworthy mechanic, take it to them.

hehehe that sucks

i'll literally stand on the brakes-***-off-the-seat and come to a dead stop and go around water, if not creep along slower than an old person walks
