carb legal headers for 2001 integra LS?
What are the carb legal headers available for a 2001 integra LS?
might as well complete the IHE setup.
whats better, 4-2-1 or 4-1 for a DD vehicle?

edelbrock and comptech both have really good carb legal headers kinda the same design though. and id pick the edelbrocks over the greddys anyday. so i vote edelbrock pro flo's because of price, design, and quality.
The difference between a 4-2-1 and 4-1 header is not much. However, the flow characteristics of the runner length used in each and the collector does dictate the differences in low end torque.
The 4-2-1 are great for low end torque, however, don't rule out the 4-1, because they are very popular as well. The 4-1 are great for a bit more top end, however, both can be used for the street. You will be fine with whatever you choose.

edelbrock is excellent quality, the ceramic coating loast for years and years. also their collector and welds are smoothed out before the final product ships. i've had a 2.5" collector modded 4-2-1 edelbrock on my R motor for 4 years now. no leaks and no flaking ceramic. i've also seen DC's of similar age rusted out and the greddys crack

skunk2 megapower is a great header, but, not only is it not carb legal, it's not emissions legal anywhere. no place for a cat.
the sad part about carb headers is they don't make a lot of power over stock, in fact that really good edelbrock will still loose to a jdm itr 4-1 unless you modify the collector to 2.5" when that's done it will take down the itr piece by a very small margin

driving like a jack*** has nothing to do with getting pulled over in CA..i got pulled over in my da for no mudflaps and they (dragnet) poped my hood and took my car for further inspection...cops will pull you over for any reason and if they don't have one they can just say you looked suspicious...so get a carb legal header or stick with oem
ps i got my car back after i showed all receipts for motor tranny and aftermarket legal parts

You need to get yourself a lawyer if your gonna let the police do **** like that to you
the oem collector and cat are a bottle neck. they measure 1.75" id this is why that same edelbrock header will make a lot more power if you cut it off, weld on a 2.5" collector and use a 2.5" cat
thought so, maybe i'll leave the headers alone. would i notice a difference with the edelbrock headers? i noticed slightly more low end when i added aem sri and apexi ws2 catback.
