Default steering column cover

ok so ive had my after market steering wheel for over a year now and the gap under the wheel on the column cover is starting to get to me i know that there is a cover that is a full circle without the SRS part cut out but i cant seem to find it im looking for either a black one or a dark grey one to match my interior i dont want the one with the courtesy light thats just too much for a piece of plastic smaller then my head.

part numbers or a place that has them in stock would be greatly appreciated

thanks

I just picked up a black one (from an Acura EL), but it has the cutout, too. All 6th Gens had driver's SRS in Canada so you'll have to look overseas.

I've never noticed such a column shroud. I can't think of a good reason for another car to have one that (1) fits and (2) has a smaller hole for the column.

i dont want a smaller hole i just want a complete circle like this

this is a pic from a 92-95 but i want one for a 96-00

the only ones that would have it like this would be a factory non-srs wheel because it wouldnt need the srs part that goes under the wheel on the column

I suppose something like that might exist, but most manufacturers will try to keep the same one design as long as it still works.

So the US style 6G column shroud... If it fits on the cars with the non-SRS wheels as well and doesn't show any gap, then Honda will keep using that one design that they use with the SRS wheels.

Actually, I'm pretty sure a 92-95 cover will fit your EK so you could try that.

I'd have to look the part number up, which is more work than it might sound like. Part numbers do not help to order overseas parts.

Hmmm... Weird that they wouldn't be willing to just look the part up by application for you.

Non-SRS bottom in BLACK (Type D interior) should be 77360-S04-900ZA, and top part is no different for w/ or w/o SRS - p/n is 77350-S04-G00ZA.

Non-SRS bottom in DARK GREY (Type K interior) should be 77360-S04-900ZC. Top part you can keep whatever you have already (no difference).

HTH.
