Help with timing h22 head/h23 block

Default Help with timing h22 head/h23 block

So i need some help with timing my car because i replaced head gasket and when i put all back together and lined up as it should be with all timing marks alligned it will try to start but nothing i was told by a friend that he knew this car and the guy who owned it befor said that the timing had lots of over lap something to do with exhaust and intake valves opening at same time any help would be great thanks ?????

also it has a h22 head h23 block its in a 96 civic

yes it has skunk2 cam gears and toda killeri believe
