Default turbo car with 140,000?

i ahve a 94 rs with 140,000 miles but runs strong. can i just slap on a drag 3 kit? i dont want to run 12's, maybe later when i graduate college, but for now 13's will do. what should i do to make it reliable? its going to be a daily driver.

Check the compression and do a leakdown test to make sure it is safe....

Just don't boost too high and beat the snot out of it all the time and it should be ok, but I am sure something will break eventually.

do a compression and leakdown test....if the numbers are good go for it....
but seriously though, turbo isn't for people that want a reliable motor....ya sure people may say that if you tune it and **** like that but some **** always goes wrong wether it be a thermometer or an axle breaking or some **** liek that vacuum lines leaking .....its always something with turbo cars....
if you want a turbo car.....look into getting a beater car to drive around in when yor turbo car is down

Personally I would go through and replace your gaskets and replace your oil pump, also make sure EVERYTHING is properly adjusted and running perfect first. Don't cut corners, you will pay for it in the end.

Good advice......id change out your timing belt, water pump, tensioner as well.

easily said and done. do a compression test and make sure your motor is all good. do a major tuneup... then slap that turbo on and boost away. i recommend 5-7psi safely.
