intermittent stuttering starts in my R
So every once in a while, I start my R and it can be kind of hesitant to start (not like a weak battery), but like a choking start. When it finally kicks over, idle is terrible, sort of like a super duper wild cam is in my motor. lol. I give it gas and let off it kind of goes away, but then i rev it a few times to about 3K, and it goes away completely, and car will sit steady at its cold idle 1200 or so. Any ideas what the culprit could be? I was thinking possibly clogged injectors, or maybe a main relay on its way to relay heaven. Any help is appreciated! TIA!
Relay is easy to test... just toggle the key from OFF to ON and see if you hear the pump priming steadily and consistently. I think youd best bet is some sort of "tune-up" to knock out the simple stuff early and then go from there.
Mileage will probably help others make suggestions as well.

I just had a 180K service done, about 3 months or so ago. Theres about 184K on the car now. Its in the shop right now, got into an accident a few weeks ago. I'll try out the relay test you suggested. Thanks for your input! much appreciated!
Im ok now. I had a concussion. Hit a guard rail. Steering on the car is jacked, front bumper, left fender, rear bumper, and a small dent near the left rear fender well, all are getting replaced. Thanks for your concern!
