Well I remember seeing this car on seattle CL for some time, its a 1998 integra type-r salvage title and painted gunmetal grey with jdm front end. I'm just wondering if anyone on here has any more information about the car.

and for those wondering yes its a real itr (carfaxed) and yes they did respray it gunmetal grey.. kind of sad.. but whats done is done.. also has a gsr motor and b16 trans so.. maybe one day it'll get a c5 back in it but doubtfull.

 

i dont no anything about this car, but i do remember seeing to on craigslist and thought the same thing, sad to see a type R paint grey

 

yeah its a little sad but its salvage so why not make it how u want it? also a good theft deterant, nobody thinks its real so hey unless they know how to check the vin (2nd number after dc2 has to be a 1 i belive) they wouldnt know its real

 

That car is sold and it got painted because the car got caught on fire so they just repainted the car.

Why gunmetal? Because it was the only paint color laying around in their garage at the time.
