'94 Ranger Splash
Throwing my DD up for sale, I really love the truck and haven't had an issue from it, but I'm just looking for something with a little more room. I thought i could pull a single cab off but I need more room for my junk. Plus it wouldn't be the most comfortable driving back and forth to florida a few times a year. But onto the info;
1994 Ranger Splash edition
2.3 liter 4 cylinder
Standard cab
Two wheel drive
5 speed manual
166k miles
Within the past 500-1k miles I've replaced:
Plugs and wires (all 8 of them)
Both coil packs
Oxygen sensor
Fuel filter
Transmission fluid
Air filter
PCV valve
Motor oil with Lucus
The truck also has a new (stock) exhaust system with new cat
New tires with well over 80% tread
Exterior
The body of the truck is in great shape, nothing other than the usual scratches and such from being daily driven. No major dents what so ever. Only rust on the body is on the rear bumper and a spot on the hood thas starting to bubble. Clear coat on the driver side of the truck is pretty much gone, passenger side looks like new though!
Interior
Inside is in great shape, no tears or stains or anything of that sort. Everything works as it should. Only thing that is messed up is the latch on the arm rest is broke so it doesn't stay closed. I used velcro and it works quite nicely.
Bad
-Does have a check engine light for code 244. Hasn't effected the drivability of the truck whats so ever.
-ABS light is on, still stops great and the fluid is topped off.
-Passenger side shackle is broke and causes the leaf spring to hit the bed when you hit a big-ish bump. I planned on fixing it when I lowered the truck but plans have changed. I will provide a new shackle.
Overall its a great little truck, I'm just looking for something a little bigger and better for road trips. Runs great, shifts smooth and doesnt burn any oil or anything, heat blows hot and A/C just needs a charge. Itll make a good work truck for someone. I also have a complete Belltech lowering kit that can go with the truck for 700 more.
Looking for $1,300 obo or trade for a 5 speed honda. Much rather sell though so shoot some offers.
