Default new accord build questions

Ok guys I just got a new accord obd1 so u know it 94-95. I am dropping a H22 in it but this car is going to get a full rebuild from the ground up. Totally stripped apart. I will be posting a few posts as this one for some help but for starters Ill start this one. I have checked the FAQ for suspensions and ilike som ethe resposnses but I really didn't find any type of consistency. I would like to know what is the BEST suspension setupI can have and brands. I mean a really good setup. My goal is street/strip. I have triedso much and it all has sucked. Thanks in advance.

What trim level Accord do you have? Reason I'm asking is becuase of the rear stabilizer bar.

If you have tried so much, then I would imagine that there probably isn't much left to try! Not to mention that if you really want the best setup for each, street and strip would require 2 different suspension setups.

You should list what you have tried so that people will not list those parts over and over.

Aside from springs and shocks I would look into upgrading a few other things as well.

Explicit Speed Performance (ESP) Traction bar
Energy Suspension poly bushing kit
FFC rear control arms or Prothane Motion Control rear control arm bushing kit.
Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars (stabilizer)

Yeah man. Its an EX 4 dr. Setups that I have had:
Stock struts with coilovers (I believe they were drop zones back in 2002)
stock struts with neuspeed lowering springs
tokico struts non adjustable with coilover springs
ksport full coilovers (this worked great but didnt last long because the adjustment screw stripped and springs lost their compression i guess. It became my moon glider lol.
I dont want bags. its too expensive and too delicate. i hope this helps out with what you wanted to know. and your right i am going to upgrade everything all bars needed, bushings, controls arms.

lol..... Moon gliding is usually the effect you get with a blown damper/shock in conjunction with a lower spring rate coil/spring. My experience is with a set of KYB-AGX shocks with skunk2 lowering springs and it wasn't too bad. If you like stiff suspention that is. The progressive spring rate was like driving a buck board. It was a little loose in the back end but an upgraded stabilizer bar will probably reduce the roll a bit more.

yeah they are blown for sure. I have been looking at the skunk2 lowering springs and the skunk2 struts. You mention the kyb-agx's with the springs. now what do you mean it was like driving a buck board. I hate the rear end bounce there is a piece of road I take everyday to get home and when I passthrough it the car bounces for like a good 6 seconds.A couple months ago I almost flew over the median to the other lane. lol

Buckboard as in a very simple 4 wheeled horse drawn wagon. They have no forgiveness, or very stiff. They are the opposite of bouncy.

lol ok well my problem is that I have both effects. If the road id uneven in a sense then I get the bounce feel really bad, but if the road has even a minor pothole or damage it will bang the hell out of the car feels almost like the suspension is going to blow through the hood and quarter panels.
