Default spark plug changing

Just wondering how often you guys change your spark plugs...I do it pretty often, probably overkill. I track the car a lot and change it about 2-3 times a year... what do you guys think.

autozone, champion rc12mc4. they work for me and are cheap enough that I change them every other month.

cost $1.99 each and 8 bucks I know I have fresh ones all the time.
