ok to start off please bare with me i grew up around muscle cars i dont really know how to work on honda's but i have a 1989 crx si with a d16a6 im looking to do a head swap what all am i going to need and can anyone tell me how to do it?

Honestly, just take your current A6 head in for some p/p work, fresh valves, Bisi stage 1 cam, (Eagle or AEM) fuel rail, adj. fpr., and a decent s.s. 4-2-1 header w/a K&N drop-in filter and you'll be good to go with it.

 

a6 with head work and tune would be fun for a while

 

a6 or z6 head with minor mods will b plenty' a6 strong motors like they said do some research/ or shave the head 8000000000000000 trillllliooooon thousands make a popcorn machine and braapaa dad whippp

 

I dont blame you, everytime i use the search button on this site, i dont find anything related. Maybe im not using it correctly, but surely it can't be that complicated.

 

A Z6 head swap would be a good choice, then you can sell me your A6 head so I have spare for my AX car.
