Icon2 90 crx w/d16z6 swap, it wont start, HELP! LOL

Ok basically a stock d16z6 swap in a 90 crx DX. Has been running great for 5 years and stills runs great but are having a problem now cranking. Its throwing NO CEL lights and i checked the grounds and they were good AND i just bought a NEW STARTER AND BATTERY(two days ago) and it STILL wont start, BUT when we push it off it cranks right up and can drive to CALI and back with NO problems,BUT the MINUTE you cut it off and turn the key to try to crank it again, u just get the "click" sound. The starter wont even turn over.

A year ago i had prolems cranking it and found out it was the ignition switch cause when it crunk up, i would have to hold the key in place for it to stay crunk, so i got another switch and solved that problem and now it wont even turn over, but we push it off, its fine!

LOL! can someone help?? Oh checked ALL the fuses too and they are fine.

So, 1. Fuses are good. 2. Grounds are good. 3. Starter is BRAND NEW. 4. Battery is BRAND NEW. 5. NO CELS! 6.Ignition switch is fine(i think cause its not doing the same thing it did last year when it failed)...........................

So WTH could it be??????????????????????????????

Try cleaning all the grounds. Make sure they have good connection do you have all the grounds where they should be? Like the one from the tranny to frame and valve cover to the radiator support? If so like I said make sure they are clean.. and could the Thick black wire with the white stripe going to the starter have a loose connection?? Or even the the power wiring going to the starter from the batter be loose

ALL ground connections are tight. No looseness at all. What do u suggest cleaning them with? I know it sounds like a ground problem and thats what i think too but all of them are connected and not loose. Also let me ask you this, if the one from the rad support to the valve cover is bad, will that really prevent it from starting?? Cause the one from the rad support to VC does look really old.

The one from vc to rad support won't really stop the Car from cranking. But the one from the tranny to frame will. To clean the connections take them off and use some sand paper to clean the area where they mount to. You want to see bare metal where they make a connection. Try doing that I would also replace the ground wire from vc to rad support if it looks old and wore out

hey man, ive ad this problem repeatedly. it was either my main relay or my battery and terminal connectors. each time you replace a battery its always a good idea to replace the battery cables and te terminal connectors. i always do and i usually fixes my problem. if that doesn't work i move to the main relay. you can always take the cover off the relay and inspect the soldering to see if it is cracked. it happens often in the heat.
