Default Si Knuckle on my std.

I have some si knuckles laying around can i go ahead and put them on my std hatch will they fit without a problem.

If its not the 4 speed standard then your fine... everything will bolt right up... if it is the 4 speed then you need to get 5 speed axels too

well thats sucks its 4 speed so i take it the 5 speed axles will slide into the 4 speed tranny with no problem

if its a 4spd manual, isnt that an std model? i thought those were not the same spline count as the dx, si, and ex...

yeah it is a 4 speed so im thinking the five speed axle are gonna work with my tranny.

will fit in the transmission fine, hubs are just different... I went through this with my car.... Ran an si transmission with 4 speed axels for 3 years until i found some si knuckles and 5 speed axels for a good deal

Only the hub splines are diffrent not the splines where the axle go into the tranny

ok to sum up everyone's post and clarify for you.

Swap the si hubs and the si axles. Only the hub side of the axles are different. The SI axles will fit right into your 4 speed tranny and work with the si hubs
