here is my 1993 del sol Si bone stock besides the wheels it has the d16z6 motor with a 5 speed and 154xxx

really the only ideas i have right now are tint the windows hook my system up drop it and some hids

other than that idk what else to do.

 

looks clean don't f@#% with it its one of the few del sols that I have seen in that nice of shape

 

I gotta agree with instructor on that one. Don't drop HIDs in there unless you plan on doing a projector retro-fit. Put some coil overs on there.

 

stay away from the hids, they suck anyways. keep it stock looking.
if your going to lower it then do it correctly. dont use some cheapo ebay sleeves. get a good set of full coil overs they should run you anywhere from 700 to 2500. if you cant do that then dont lower it....lol
i like clean stock vehicles. the only mod that "I" personally would do if i owned a delsol is i like the eg front end conversions and i hate the delsol front ends. but that is me and most people hate it...lol

well im keeping the stock bumper i like the fogs and i was going to go with yellow hids but why dont you thing i should?? and i am going to lower it but not much say inch and a half to two? and im going to drop a new motor in it but not like a big swap its either going to be a d16z6 or im going to put a 1994 b16a3 in it out of a 94 del sol but going to have ac and ps. needs some paint and body work but its not bad at all compared to all the other p.o.s around knoxville. does need tint bad and going to give it a little sound the stock pipe not loud. but no body kits at all but why every one hate hids?

 

get an ex lip or si lip and lower it a lil bit and your good.

yeah i would lowered it, front lip and call it good. car is pretty clean.

Boosted d would be quick in a sol, and not too expensive either. if you swap a b into it, you're more than likely going to end up wanting more power soon.
To answer the question everyone is ignoring, hid's tend to be annoying if they aren't retrofitted from a car that has them from the factory. When you drive towards someone with an hid kit, 9 times out of 10 they're going to be partially blinded, and will probably hate you. On top of that, it appears that everyone and their mother has hid's now. There's a mini-van in my town that has them....

 

Well I have hella bulbs in there now. And yes I'm a power junky my motocross bike were the meanest and still didn't have the power haha but a boosted b16 be some fun

 

When they say lip, they don't mean replace the bumper, just a lip that attaches to the bottom of the bumper.
