hey whats up guys. my left axle is bad so im looking to change them both soon. but i was wondering how would i do a "spline" count on the axles so ill know how many splines need to be on my new axles. can you help? thanks.

p.s i have a 88' civic dx hatch back. 1.5l d15b2 engine

 

theyre the same as all other 88-91 axles EXCEPT standard hatchbacks and HF CRX's to my knowledge

by left axle do u mean when you're looking at the front of the car? or when ur inside the car? simply, is it the drivers side or passenger

 

ummm if the car is stock theeenn juss get axles for your 88 civic dx?. easy?

i jus found some axles there off a 89 crx. those would fit to right?

 

as long as the axles arent from a CRX HF or standard hatchback youre good

 

ohh i assumed you were gonna buy NEW axles. guess nobody does that anymore..

the HF axles have 23 splines on the hub end, if it still has the HF knuckles/hubs
