ok I've done some searching and what I've found out is that the code "4jhd" means 4.4 final drive was offered as original equipment, while "ne3" signifies 4.78 final drive and also it would be stamped LSD.

I'm going to take a good look at the housing in the morning but this is the LSD stamp I found on my transmission and what looks to be a "J45"


Can anyone verify what this is? Is there going to be another stamp somewhere with the other code? I'm also assuming it is a JDM transmission because there is no VIN or holes for the VIN Plate.

either way it's b16 gears with the 4:40 FD

 

yup J4D is 97-01 USDM ITR or 95-97 JDM ITR, B16 with 4.4.
