light throttle issues 96 accord
so heres the deal just got done swaping a f22b2 into a 92 vx and when im using very light throttle, like just trying to keep the car moving same speed it seems like it cuts for a split second. it feels like if the car were about to die the first time you tried driving a clutch and it just keeps jerking around :D does that make sense? it does this at any rpm with light throttle. im getting a code for IACV but im guessing its cuz i dont have an o2 sensor since the car stops fluctuating rpms once it warms up. i have'nt fine tuned the timing with a timing light yet. it didnt have this problem before until i pulled/cleaned up the IACV. when it cuts it drops about 100-200 rpm
The IACV code will have nothing to do with the O2 sensor. Fix the issue with the IACV and if your running a stock ECU you will need an O2 sensor as well. Once you get all that sorted out check your timing and then see if you still have the issue. If the issue persists I would look at the TPS or MAP sensors.
