I used the search but I'm still clueless, and I need it somewhat "Dumbed down"

I'm trying to wire a push button start in my EF, but I want to make it so the only way the engine will crank is through pressing the button.

So basically what I need dumbed down is, what wire do I cut and wire to the button?

It will be the thick black wire with the white stripe. Cut it add the switch. But make sure it is a high amp switch a lot of current goes threw that wire. And that's all you need to do for the push button start. note car will no longer crank with the key you must put key to the "on" position. And push the switch to crank it.. or you could splice in to the acc power wire don't cut it just splice in to it and add a wire to run to the switch and from the switch run a wire to the starter wire and splice into it. That way you can still start it with the key if you want.. and the push button
