last weekend i installed my carsound cat and removed the resonator..and finished the 2.5 piping..car no sounds like shiet..but seems to pull harder...and suggestions to fixing this..

It's because of the resonator.

 

any way to cure this the resonator piping is hella small..

 

dam i could swear i have more torque...on the bottom end..just sounds like shiet..

def. need the resonator, Ive got 2.5 piping with no res and a test pipe it sounds like ***. Im picking up a itr midpipe to solve it. thats the only way, add a res.

 

the itr piping though for the resonator still bottlenecks the flow...any ideas..

Hmm.. I could've sworn that little four bangers need a resonator to help create backpressure. ANd without it, the four bangers would lose power..

get a 2.5" dynomax bullet and use it as a resonator.

Depends on the sound....is it an exhaust leak? Or maybe, like mine and others...your Carsound Cat has gone bad. My cat went bad after 2 months on a pretty much stock engine too.
