I recently got my car started and running after 4 months of sitting, it's a d15b2 with mpfi and a 272 cam. It's running but it likes to bog down at low rpms but when it gets up past 4 it seems pretty normal, I need help trying to figure out this timing has been checked and rechecked. Sounds to me like a fuel problem?

 

Any cel?? Was the car converted to mpfi??? You got me lost lol a d15b2 is not mpfi unless you swapped out the intake manifold...

 

Exactly that's why I said d15b2 because it was converted to mpfi I did it myself all the soldering and wiring, no cels. Is there a diagram for the big dizzy plug showing which color wire goes where?

 

spark plugs fouled
fuel injection system faulty
fuel filter clogged
incorrect timing
intake manifold leak

thats right out of the repair manual, id check that stuff and see what happens cuz my d16y8 in my ef does the same thing and its converted to obd1 but my timing is off by 180degrees lmfao

 

i had the 2 cps wires that you had to run to the dizzy switched running alot better now, but wont idle worth a crap
