I've got a DA integra that I daily drive on 15s. I need to get tires again, and was jus. gonna impulse buy some Azenis, but now I don't know. I'm going for 205 50 15, and I want a sticky tire that I can DD. I want something with good wet traction, too. Treadwear isn't too much of an issue as long as it's not atrocious. Im leaning towards the star specs, but don't wanna pull the trigger until I get some input from you guys.
Edit: The car is going to have lots of suspension mods if that makes a difference. ***** to the wall, suspension wise...

Out of those three I think the star specs are probably the stickiest, followed VERY closely by the re11, then the azenis last. that being said, i think a better tire size for you would be 195/55/15 since 205/50/15 are slightly undersized on a DA. and the star spec is the only one that comes in that size. so there you have it...get the star specs
also you mention its for a DD, if the car touches snow or very cold temps then i dont think any of these tires are a good choice. they are all pure summer tires.
EDIT: star specs are also cheaper by about $30/tire. another good reason to go with them

hm, so no on the 205-50? i figured the wider tire would be a good thing. what do you mean by undersized? how so?
lol, i've never really figured out tires b/c i've always had stock 14s for the most part.

I run re-11's because according to tirerack's test they are the over all best tire. Quietes and the best wet traction and better dry traction than star specs. the only advantage to star spcs are the price

i'm actually on tire rack right now...
hm, the ride comfort goes way up with the re-11s according to their surveys... 8.4 compared to the star spec's 7.8.
that in itself just may win me over. after all, it is a DD.

i DD my re-11's. at 20k miles on them got probably another 5-7 in them and i BEAT on my car through the turns. I do notice a little howl at highway speeds but its not a rough riding tire at all. I 100% recommend these if your looking for an ultimate summer tire. They are very good in wet weather also. My friend drove behind me one night in the rain with them he said it was like riding behind a semi they spray so much

205-50 is a performance size tire. Trust me, it may throw your speed off slightly but its not right even with stock tires. go for em. you wont regret it

205/50/15 will work but they are just technically smaller than your oem tire size. not really that noticeable.
