The title is my gamertag on XBL lol. Anyway I started this build because I needed a car for school to save me gas versus driving my Lexus Gs300 which uses 93 gas and gets 275miles on a full tak at roughly 17.xx gallons. A buddy of mine had this civic that needed a motor so I bought it for $250 in december of 2010. I need this car asap for the start of my 2 1/2 semester of college.

Car: 88 Honda civic dx Manual trans stock tranny
Plan (After searching and deciding on a powerplant): D16z6

List of parts that I have to date:
Complete Engine w/ intake and injectors
Alt
Starter
Coolant neck and housing
Converted harness (Sent to member for convert)
Clutch kit oem for stock tranny ( Ordered)
axle (one was busted)
Crank pulley
alt belt

List of parts I need and dont have yet:
p28 ecu
stock tranny flywheel
Exhaust mani ( gonna go aftermarket ebay header)

I have some offers for those parts just waiting till next pay. But shid by next pay or sooner my taxes will be here! ohh yea


If you or anyone had extra intake and exh gasket i could have for free id appreciate it. I want to port match while its all apart so an old gasket would be perfect.

 

I got some old gaskets layin around. Ill throw them in wit tha harness
