I got major sunroof problems due to fact of the previous' owner tinkering with the wiring.
so im deciding to get straight power from the battery, with a fuse block.

I dont want to get a 3 way toggle switch, im trying to utilize my old switch but im wondering which wires are what?

could i get some help?

since the wires are unclear
from right to left - red w/ silver markings, red silver markings w/ black stripe, grey w/ red stripe, yellow w/ red stripe, grey w/ yellow stripe, black w/ silver markings.

which is up?
which is down?
which is constant power, if there is?

im assuming black with silver markings is ground.

how would could i use a direct line from the battery to the switch?

i tried looking for a wiring diagram earlier but i didnt find anything useful that could help me out.

97 4cyl auto SOHC

 

The switch you show appears to be the moon-roof/sunroof switch for a 6th gen Accord (98-02) instead of the info. I have for a 5th gen Accord. The switch, wiring and circuit looks different.

Based on the switch you show and how the wiring is for a 6th gen Accord, this is what I believe is how it goes. There is still a moon-roof close relay in the circuit for the 6th gen.
